Dear Au Pair, we are currently seeking somebody to help with the care of my mother & father. Both in their 80s and recovering from recent hospital treatments. Both are generally able but getting old. My mother is a little unstable on her feet and suffering from periodic confusion (and possible early stages of dementia); my father is more unstable on his feet and we worry about him falling day / night. He has previously suffered from a stoke and is diabetic. At the moment they are both able to go to the toilet and wash themselves. As such we are looking for live in assistance to help with their general care and wellbeing plus assistance with general household duties (cooking / cleaning / washing etc…). We would expect you to notice any signs of further illness and arrange doctor visits as necessary and in event of emergency notify and communicate with ambulance services. As a such a basic level of english would be required.
