Description

Live in elderly help required for a 87 year old lady in Putney, London. Good location and the helper will her own bedroom. Part time position around 25 hours/week to assist with shopping, cooking, companionship, personal hygiene/everyday bathing and dressing. All nationalities will be considered and the family are keen to find someone mature and sensible. An Italian companion  would be fantastic as the lady herself is Italian! Pocket money is £170 to £200/week gross.

 

Here is a rough idea of what the daily routine will be like but please bear in mind that it may vary slightly depending on how well or unwell my mother is feeling each day.

  •     07.00 – 08.00:  Wake up and help with personal hygiene which may consist of a wash or a bath.  Help to get dressed.
  •     08.00 – 8.30: Prepare breakfast which often consists of cereal and/or toast and a cup of tea.
  •     08.30 – 09.30: Household chores, shopping etc. (*flexible as this could be later in the afternoon instead).
  •     12.00 – 12.30:  Prepare lunch
  •     (Household chores, shopping, laundry, etc.)
  •     17.00 – 18.00:  Prepare dinner
  •     21.30 – 22.00: Help with getting ready for bed.
  •     Occasionally accompany to hospital for appointments which may take 3 to 4 hours.
