We are sometimes asked why you when you do a search for your name on search engines and although you may no be available, the search engine will still find the original page that you were listed on.
Search engines list pages that they find on the internet on their index. Of course a search engine cannot visit every single page on the whole internet on a daily basis. So until it re-visits that page and changes it in it's own index, the search will still produce the old page. Eventually search engines will re-visit that page and re-index the new information and then you will not come up in any searches.
