Do I need insurance, and if so who pays for it?

We recommend that all aupairs travelling abroad take out travel insurance, and usually health insurance as well. In most cases you will need to pay for your own health and travel insurance. If you are an EU citizen travelling only within the EU you can get an E111 form from your doctor which will cover you for basic health needs.
