What do I need to send in for my application?

We need the following items:

1- Photos - You need to send in 1 passport type photo (i.e. head and shoulders) and at least 1 other photo, preferably of you with children you have looked after.

2- References - childcare related if possible (babysitting etc). If not, then references from teachers or employers will be sufficient. They should be letters from the referees, with the full name, address and phone number of the writer. If this is not possible then the name, address and phone number of the referee and a full description of what you did for them. We cannot accept references from members of your family.

3- Dear Family letter - introducing yourself, your experience and interests and why you want to be an aupair, along with any other information for the family. This should be 1-2 pages long.

4- If you wish to be placed in the UK, then we also require proof of identity like a copy of your passport.

Other information - You can also send in a Medical certificate, Police certificate and copy of your visa if you already have one.

Remember to write your Dear Family letter in either the language of your target country or if that is not possible then English. If you are applying to more than one country, just write in English. Please make sure you provide translations for any references, certificates etc into English as well.
