Au pair China

Being an au pair is a very safe and nice way to explore China. Living with a Chinese family could help au pairs learn the Chinese language and culture. Host families are carefully selected and screened. Au pair rooms are inspected, to guarantee the au pairs live comfortably. Because of the "one child" policy, the majority of the families only have one child. So both the host parents and the child are eager to have a big "sister" or "brother" living with them. Also all the families are well educated, active and enthusiastic. Some of them had been living, studying or working abroad for several years. So they are very open minded, sociable. They welcome the au pairs coming to their homes very much!

  Length of stay: 3-12 months.

  Eligibility:
• Male or female. 18 to 29 years old.
• Has no dependencies (single with no children).
• Completed secondary school.
• Has a valid medical certificate to ensure good state of health.
• Has childcare experience.

  Benefits:

  Your duties:
• Child care.
• Light housework.
• Help the children practice their foreign language. ?
• The au pair shall be permitted to work no more than six hours per day, up to a maximum of 30 hours per week.
• The au pair shall be entitled to no less than two free days per week, including one full weekend per month.
• Besides the public holidays, the au pair shall be entitled to 3 days paid holiday every 3 months.

  Cost:
• Cost of application: You can choose one of 3 currencies, £70 or $110 or €80.
• You pay for your own travel costs to China, but up to a maximum of RMB 4,000 is refunded to you at completion of the program .
